Gardiner Company Profile

Gardiner Realty was founded in 1978 by Francis E. "Skip" Gardiner, Jr. for the purpose of managing a few buildings in Crofton, Maryland built by his construction company. Over the several years, Gardiner Realty pieced together several parcels into what is now the 100-acre Priest Bridge Business Park. As the company grew in the 1980s, it ventured into developing properties in Annapolis and Southern Maryland. During this time, the company also took on several third-party brokerage and property management assignments.

In the 1990s, the company focused on the continued development of Priest Bridge and properties in Southern Maryland, primarily in Calvert County. In 1997, the company broke ground on an 80-acre commercial town center development in Dunkirk, Maryland called Calvert Gateway.

In 2003, the company added a 525-acre assemblage located in Southern Prince George's County to its portfolio, which will consist of a 200-acre single-family home community called Lakeview at Brandywine, as well as a planned mixed-use community to be called the Villages at Timothy Branch.

Today, the company is well-positioned to benefit from continued growth in its marketplace. At this time, the company has several office and flex buildings in the planning, development, and construction stages. Additionally, the company is working on various land development projects throughout the region.
